I Can Hear a Rainbow

quest · Windurst

Windurst quest. Reward: key item job gesture: summoner; title Rainbow Weaver; 20 Windurst fame.

The Summoner job quest: carry Carbuncle's Ruby into the wilds under seven different kinds of weather, then offer it at La Theine Plateau to unlock Summoner.

Before you start: Carbuncle's Ruby in your inventory

Walkthrough:
1. Examine the door in Windurst Walls with the Carbuncle's Ruby and watch the cutscene to accept the quest.
2. Travel to outdoor zones such as West Ronfaure, North Gustaberg or Sauromugue Champaign while the Carbuncle's Ruby is in your inventory.
3. On zoning in, a light shows if the current weather element has not been collected yet.
4. Collect all seven lights by visiting under clear skies and each of fire, water, earth, wind, ice and thunder weather.
5. Trade the Carbuncle's Ruby to the ??? (G-6) in La Theine Plateau to complete the quest.

Good to know: Each weather element only counts once, so check the weather before zoning in. Any of the open-field zones from the three nations and the Outlands regions will trigger the lights. The Carbuncle's Ruby must be carried in your main inventory, not a bag or satchel.
