Unlocking a Myth: Red Mage

quest · Jeuno

Jeuno quest. Reward: none listed.

The Red Mage mythic weapon skill quest, in which you earn 250 weapon skill points with the Vorpal Sword and show it to Zalsuhm in Lower Jeuno to learn Death Blossom.

Before you start: Red Mage as your main job; A Vorpal Sword from the Vigil weapons

Walkthrough:
1. Equip the Vorpal Sword and talk to Zalsuhm (H-9) in Lower Jeuno, then choose to begin the trial.
2. Use weapon skills with the Vorpal Sword until it reaches 250 weapon skill points.
3. Trade the Vorpal Sword to Zalsuhm (H-9) in Lower Jeuno to learn Death Blossom.

Good to know: If you trade the sword too early, Zalsuhm tells you roughly how far along you are. If you tell Zalsuhm you are not ready, he is upset until you zone.
