Unlocking a Myth: Black Mage

quest · Jeuno

Jeuno quest. Reward: none listed.

Black Mage quest in which Zalsuhm in Lower Jeuno teaches the weapon skill Vidohunir once your Mage's Staff has enough weapon skill points.

Before you start: Black Mage as your main job; A Mage's Staff equipped when you begin; Enough weapon skill points on the staff (250)

Walkthrough:
1. Equip your Mage's Staff and talk to Zalsuhm (H-9) in Lower Jeuno to accept the quest.
2. Use the staff in battle until it has earned enough weapon skill points.
3. Trade the Mage's Staff to Zalsuhm (H-9) in Lower Jeuno.

Good to know: If you trade it too early, Zalsuhm will tell you how far along it is. Talking to Zalsuhm without the staff equipped makes him sulk until you zone.
