Hidden quest. Reward: Lizard Tail, Rock Salt, Chocopass, Fire Crystal, Water Crystal, Hare Meat, Honey, Meat Jerky, Bird Egg, Saltena, Copper Voucher, Raising Earring, Echad Ring, Warp Ring.

A guided tutorial for new adventurers run by Gulldago in Bastok Markets, Alaune in Southern San d'Oria or Selele in Windurst Woods, giving small rewards along the way.

Before you start: A new character; the tutorial NPC of your starting nation.

Walkthrough:
1. Talk to your nation's tutorial NPC (Gulldago (D-11) in Bastok Markets, Alaune (G-10) in Southern San d'Oria or Selele (K-10) in Windurst Woods) twice.
2. Obtain Signet from a conquest guard, then return for 6 Meat Jerky.
3. Eat some food, then return to the NPC.
4. Learn a weapon skill, then return for 100 gil.
5. Activate Records of Eminence to receive a memorandoll, then return for starter items and a crystal.
6. Use an Auction House counter and return to the NPC for a Conquest promotion voucher.
7. Reach level 5 and return for a Raising Earring.
8. Obtain your nation's Trust permit and return for a Warp Ring.
9. Check the Survival Guide in the two required places and return for 12 Saltena.
10. Reach level 18 and return for a Copper Voucher.
11. Set a subjob and return for 12 Chocopass and an Echad Ring.

Good to know: Survival Guides: Bastok Mines then North Gustaberg; Northern San d'Oria then West Ronfaure; Port Windurst then West Sarutabaruta. The starter items at the memorandoll step depend on your nation.
