Before you start: Complete The Forbidden Path

Walkthrough:
1. Talk to Lehko Habhoka in Windurst Waters [S].
2. Talk to Dhea Prandoleh, then Velda-Galda in Windurst Waters [S].
3. Enter Fort Karugo-Narugo [S] from Meriphataud Mountains [S] at (C-7). Check the Stone Monument (Map 1, E-7) in Fort Karugo-Narugo [S].
4. Check the Succulent Cactus (Map 1, F-5) to receive a succulent dragon fruit.
5. Return the fruit to the Stone Monument (Map 1, E-7).
6. Examine the Sunken Hollow (Map 1, G-7) in Fort Karugo-Narugo [S] to enter the escort battle in Ghoyu's Reverie.
7. After the battle, talk to Dhea Prandoleh in Windurst Waters [S].

Good to know: If no ripe fruit remains, try the cactus again the next Vana'diel day.
