Crystal War quest, starts with Rholont in Southern San d'Oria [S]. Reward: Peiste Skin.

Crystal War quest for San d'Oria: gather provisions for Rholont, then clear a path through Vunkerl Inlet [S] and Pashhow Marshlands [S].

Before you start: In a Haze of Glory completed; Zone and wait a Vana'diel day between attempts if Rholont turns you away

Walkthrough:
1. Talk to Rholont (E-7) in Southern San d'Oria [S].
2. Examine the Tree Hollow (E-7) in Southern San d'Oria [S] to get the long-life biscuits.
3. Examine the Well (E-7) in Southern San d'Oria [S] to get the flask of Kingdom water.
4. Harvest logs in East Ronfaure [S] until you find the Ronfaure maple syrup.
5. Return to Rholont (E-7) for the biscuit a la Rholont.
6. Examine the Felled Trees (G-7) in Jugner Forest [S] to begin the quest.
7. In Vunkerl Inlet [S], examine the first Toppled Cresset, then the second, then the Underbrush (F-13).
8. Examine the Underbrush (F-13) again to summon Madthrasher Zradbodd and defeat it.
9. Examine the Underbrush (F-13) once more, then examine the Shimmering Pondweed (G-6) in Pashhow Marshlands [S].

Good to know: The maple syrup comes from logging attempts and only appears about half the time. If the Madthrasher is already up, wait for it to be cleared.
