The Crystal Line

mission · Bastok

Bastok mission. Reward: none listed.

Carry a crystal test for Cid in Metalworks and deliver his report to Ayame.

Before you start: Bastok citizen at rank 2; Previous mission completed: Fetichism; No other national mission active

Walkthrough:
1. Accept the mission from Argus (L-7), Cleades (D-11), Rashid (H-10) or Malduc (J-8).
2. Talk to Cid (H-8) in Metalworks and accept his request; he gives you a random crystal.
3. Obtain a Faded Crystal and trade it to Cid (H-8) in Metalworks to receive the C. L. report.
4. Take the C. L. report to Ayame (K-7) in Metalworks to complete the mission.

Good to know: Naji in Metalworks also reacts to the report, but Ayame is the one who completes the mission. Repeatable for rank points.
