mission · A Moogle Kupo d'Etat

A Moogle Kupo d'Etat mission. Reward: none listed.

A Moogle Kupo d'Etat mission 6, in which you collect a ripe starfruit from the Cardians in Outer Horutoto Ruins and pay Shantotto to lift the moogle's curse.

Before you start: Currently on A Moogle Kupo d'Etat: An Errand! The Professor's Price; At least one of the key items Orb of Swords, Orb of Cups, Orb of Batons or Orb of Coins; 5,000 gil

Walkthrough:
1. Talk to Shantotto (K-7) in Windurst Walls to hear what is needed.
2. In East Sarutabaruta, go to the Lilac Tower at (H-3) and enter Outer Horutoto Ruins. Go down the stairs to the ??? at (H-6) on Map 2, holding at least one Orb key item.
3. Choose to fight and defeat the Cardians that appear. Each orb you hold removes a weakness barrier; spend them on the fight.
4. Afterward you receive a ripe starfruit and a peach coral key.
5. Return to Shantotto (K-7) in Windurst Walls and agree to pay 5,000 gil for the starfruit.
6. Talk to Shantotto (K-7) again to watch the moogle being uncursed.
7. Examine the Inconspicuous Door (H-8) in Upper Jeuno to see the digging instructions and complete the mission.

Good to know: Holding more orbs means fewer Cardians: 15 with one or two orbs, 10 with three, 5 with all four. Each orb you hold when the fight starts is used up. Orbs you do not hold make the Cardians immune to that damage type. If you decline to pay, zone and speak to Shantotto again to retry. Stay within range of the ??? during the fight or the battle is lost.
