Venture Roll (Lower Jeuno Game Tables)

guide · Server guide

A dice game for 2 to 4 players at the Game Tables in Lower Jeuno (H-8). The winner takes the whole pot.

Tables

- 2 players, 500 gil each: the table opposite the Merry Minstrel's Meadhouse.
- 3 players, 2,000 gil each, and 4 players, 3,000 gil each: the two tables opposite Waag-Deeg's Magic Shop.

How to play

- Touch a table and choose Take a seat. The entry fee is taken when you sit down.
- The table waits one minute for the other seats to fill. If it does not fill, the game is called off and every fee is returned.
- When the table is full, everyone rolls one six-sided die. These first rolls are announced to the whole table.
- You then have one minute. Touch the table to choose:

- Double Up: roll another die and add it to your total. Only you see this roll. You can Double Up as often as you like.
- Hold Fast: stop with your current total.

- Go over 11 and you are out at once. When the minute ends, anyone still in holds fast.

Winning

- The total closest to 11 without going over wins the pot (every player's fee).
- If two or more players share the best total, the game is a draw and every fee is returned.
- If everyone goes over 11, every fee is returned.
