Treasure Chests and Coffers: extra rewards

Where: any Treasure Chest or Treasure Coffer opened with its key (or a successful pick).

How: open it as usual. On top of what it normally gives, it can hand you two extras.

A Gobbie Mystery Box prize

When a chest or coffer gives you its regular loot (the gil or the item), it may also give you one prize from the Gobbie Mystery Box Special Dial, the same draw as a box spin.

- The prize is yours. If your bags are full it goes to the treasure pool instead of being lost.
- Opens that give artifact armour, a quest item or a map don't draw.

Endgame upgrade materials

Every chest or coffer you open also rolls the endgame upgrade material list: chests at three times an NM's rate, coffers at five times. The items go to your treasure pool, or straight into your bags if you have no party. See Endgame upgrade materials outside their home content for the list and the chances.

A failed pick, a trap, a mimic or an illusion gives neither extra.
