Stylist Moogle

guide ยท Server guide

The Stylist Moogle changes your character's face, any time, for free.

Where to find it

- Type !hangout to go to the Rolanberry bazaar hangout. The Stylist Moogle stands by the Bonanza Moogle, a few steps from where you arrive.
- New characters are also asked "Customize your look further?" once, on first login, after the opening cutscene. Pick "Yes, show me more looks" to open the same menu.

How it works

- Talk to the Stylist Moogle. It tells you what you're wearing now.
- The menu: Face style, Hair colour, Special face, Fomor body, My own body back (while you're a Fomor), Undo my changes (once you've changed something) and All done.
- Every pick goes on at once, so your character is the preview and everyone nearby sees it too. You come straight back to the menu to try something else. Escape goes back one step. "All done" or closing the menu keeps what you have on; "Undo my changes" puts back the look you came in with.

The faces

Face style lists the 8 creation faces for your race, such as "7 Mio" for a Mithra, and keeps your hair colour. Hair colour switches between your face's A and B colours and keeps your face. Special face has Fomor (face only) and Mannequin once you've earned them: Fomor from the quest "Shades of the Lost" (trade the moogle a Swift Belt), Mannequin by owning a complete mannequin (from "It's Raining Mannequins!" in Mhaura). Until then the moogle tells you how to earn them.

A whole Fomor body

After "Shades of the Lost", pick Fomor body to become a Fomor from head to toe. They're in six groups: Fighters (Warrior, Monk, Samurai, Ninja, Dragoon), Knights and tamers (Paladin, Dark Knight, Beastmaster), Mages (Black Mage, Red Mage, Summoner), Thieves and bards (Thief, Ranger, Bard), Sacrarium lords (Balor, Luaith, Lobais) and Aht Urhgan (the Wajaom and Bhaflau Fomors). Some have a Lufaise "II" version. It stays on through gear changes, zoning and logging out, and you can still talk to NPCs. My own body back undoes it.

Good to know

- Take your costume off first. The moogle can't restyle you while you're in costume.
