Pulse weapons (Voidwatch)

The 15 Pulse weapons from the Mog Kupon W-Pulse set can now be earned in game. Sagasinger already dropped from the Arch Dynamis Lord in Dynamis - Xarcabard. The other 14 are rare rewards from a Riftworn Pyxis, the chest that appears after you defeat a Voidwatch NM (Voidwalker).

How to get one

- Join a Voidwatch path at a Voidwatch Officer (the Rolanberry Fields, Batallia Downs, Sauromugue Champaign, Qufim Island or city officers). You need level 75 or higher. The officer gives you your stratum abyssite and voidstones.
- Beat Voidwalkers on that path and upgrade your abyssite at an Atmacite Refiner until you reach the tier listed below.
- Go to the zone and find a Planar Rift. Rifts show up on widescan, and each zone has three. Any of the three summons that zone's Voidwalker.
- Optional: trade Phase Displacers (they weaken the NM) and colored cells to the rift. Rubicund (red) cells raise reward quality and make a Pulse weapon more likely. Cobalt (blue) cells give you more reward rolls, up to 4.
- Examine the rift twice to start. Each fight costs one voidstone, and you have 30 minutes to win.
- When the NM dies, a Riftworn Pyxis appears at the rift. Everyone who fought can open it once within 3 minutes. Each person rolls their own rewards.

Pulse weapons are Rare/Ex. If you already own one, the pyxis will not roll that weapon for you, so a duplicate never wastes your share.

\* Meeble Burrows isn't on Vanadreams, so each weapon is on the Voidwalker of the closest matching family: Gallu for Ig-Alima, Botulus for Botulus Rex, wyvern for the wyrm Ildebrann, wamoura for Nympha Eunomia, grimoire for Rw Nw Prt M Hrw, and construct for Voidwrought. Girru and Ikarigiri also drop from Legion's Paramount Gallu and Paramount Botulus in the Hall of Mul.

Drop chance

Each reward roll has about a 5% chance of a Pulse weapon. Every red light you earn adds 3%. With several weapons on one NM, a hit picks one of them at random.

On top of that, each Pulse weapon on the NM gets its own 2% roll for every share opened (see Named rewards below).

Named rewards

Every Voidwalker also has its own list of named rewards. When you open the Riftworn Pyxis, each item on the list is rolled separately for your share, beside the pyxis's usual rare slot:

- 50% for items marked "often" below
- 10% for the other named items
- 2% for the Pulse weapons

Rare items you already own are skipped, and a Rare item can't come twice in one share.
