Oboro, the swordsmith in Port Jeuno (E-6), makes one weapon for each job:

Who can ask

You need one of these:

- A Delve boss beaten: Muyingwa, Dakuwaqa or Tojil (Cirdas Caverns [U]), or Cailimh, Wopket or Utkux (Yorcia Weald [U]).
- A phantom gem battle (★ mission or avatar fight) cleared on Normal or harder.

How it works

- Talk to Oboro. If you qualify he takes you on and lists what he makes.
- Trade him, all at once, the three pieces for the weapon you want plus 75 of one kind of stone: Pluton, Beitetsu or Riftborn Boulder (no mixing).
- Come back after the next Vana'diel midnight and talk to him to collect it. One weapon in the works at a time.

Not sure what your job needs? Trade him a Cehuetzi Claw or Cehuetzi Pelt on its own and he names the pieces for your current job. HQ pieces are not accepted.

Where the pieces come from

- Cehuetzi Claw / Pelt: Utkux, the Delve boss of Yorcia Weald [U]; after beating it, Forri-Porri in Western Adoulin (Mweya Plasm exchange) also has them.
- The weapons and staves: all are crafted (Smithing, Woodworking, Goldsmithing or Bonecraft), and can be bought from other players.
- Imperial Wootz Ingot: Smithing. Star Sapphire: Campaign battle spoils in the past zones and Abyssea Sturdy Pyxides.
- Pluton, Beitetsu, Riftborn Boulder: ★ orb and phantom gem battlefields (Horlais Peak, Waughroon Shrine, Qu'Bia Arena, Throne Room and others).
