Nyzul Isle Uncharted Area Survey

The Uncharted Area Survey is the level 99 version of Nyzul Isle. Instead of climbing floor by floor and saving your progress on the Runic Disc, you pick a boss floor (20, 40, 60, 80 or 100) and race to it. The boss on that floor drops the Rheic, Euxine and Tethyan armor and, at the top, the Phorcys, Thaumas and Nares sets.
Requirements
- Level 99 on your main job. Level Sync does not count.
- An Imperial Army ID tag.
- 1 to 6 players. Everyone in the party needs their own orders.
Getting the orders
- Go to the Sorrowful Sage in Aht Urhgan Whitegate, in the Nyzul Isle corner of the Public Office (L-9).
- Talk to him while you hold an Imperial Army ID tag and have no assault orders.
- Pick Uncharted Area Survey. He takes the tag and gives you Nyzul Isle assault orders for the survey. (The same menu still offers the normal Nyzul Isle Investigation.)
- Go to the Runic Portal in Alzadaal Undersea Ruins as for the Investigation, and enter.
Inside
- You have 30 minutes. Your buffs are removed when you enter.
- Every run starts on floor 1. At the Rune of Transfer in the lobby, choose your destination floor: 20, 40, 60, 80 or 100.
- Each floor has an objective, as in the Investigation. When it is done, the Rune of Transfer lights up and the first player to touch it chooses:
- Advance one floor.
- Advance 2 to 11 floors: a random jump, never past your destination.
- Leave Nyzul Isle: ends the run. You are paid Nyzul Isle assault tokens as usual.
- The monsters are stronger than on Investigation floors, and get tougher the deeper you go.
- The survey does not record anything on your Runic Disc.

Each boss uses its job's two-hour ability once its HP gets low.
Rewards
The destination boss drops 1 to 3 pieces into the treasure pool. The grade depends on the floor:

Astraria: picking the piece you want
Repeat boss kills earn an astrarium key item. Each one buys a single piece of your choice from Berangere, next to the Sorrowful Sage (L-9).

A message after each kill shows your count. You can only hold one of each astrarium, so spend it before you earn the next one. To trade, talk to Berangere and pick the astrarium, then the set, then the piece, and confirm. Have a free inventory slot.
The floor 80 and floor 100 bosses of the normal Nyzul Isle Investigation still count toward the Gold and Platinum astraria and still drop Phorcys, Thaumas and Nares pieces.
