Vanadreams ships with HD faces for every race, HD towns (San d'Oria, Bastok, Windurst, Jeuno, Selbina, Mhaura, Aht Urhgan Whitegate, Western and Eastern Adoulin), HD Adoulin fields (Rala Waterways, Yahse Hunting Grounds, Ceizak Battlegrounds, Foret de Hennetiel, Yorcia Weald, Morimar Basalt Fields), HD starter fields (Ronfaure, Gustaberg, Sarutabaruta, La Theine, Valkurm) and HD player bodies and armour.

A colour and lighting pass runs on top. Press Home in game to open it and pick a preset:

- Vanadreams-Standard (default): soft bloom, colour grade, sharpening.
- Vanadreams-Ultra: stronger bloom plus a light vignette.
- Vanadreams-Look: colour grade only, lightest.

Scroll Lock turns the effects on and off. The game runs at 60 fps and draws the world at 2048.

Already using other mods? HD texture packs such as Ashenbubs' only replace the same game files, so they can sit alongside ours (our update overwrites the files we ship). A second ReShade or a different d3d8/d3d9 wrapper (dgVoodoo, dx8to9) in the same folder will conflict and can cause a black screen: remove theirs, or turn ours off as described below.

Older PC: in the bootloader folder next to xiloader.exe, rename d3d8.dll and d3d9.dll (add .off) to turn the colour pass off completely. The HD textures stay.
