The Rolanberry bazaar hangout

guide ยท Server guide

Type !hangout (or zone out of Lower Jeuno into Rolanberry Fields) and you arrive in the hangout's open plaza. Everything is on the flat valley floor ahead of you: the market and travel services at the mouth of the valley, the rest around the big lone tree, and the shopkeepers and the training ring along the path that runs west from it.

Market and travel (the valley mouth, just past the plaza)

- Auction Moogle: Auction House, Mog House menu (storage, delivery box) and tips.
- Login Moogle: the Login Campaign exchange. Spend your login points on the same rewards the port cities' Greeter Moogles offer, picked from menus: one at a time, or twelve at once for stackable items. Two extra pages ("More kupons") sell the other kupons for 500 and 1,000 points. You can also trade it Beastmen's Seals or Kindred's Seals for 10 login points each, as many as you like in one trade (anything that would take you past the points cap of 65,535 is handed back). See Login Campaign rewards.
- Survival Guide (the floating book), across the walkway: the usual Survival Guide teleports.
- Home Point crystal, beside it: set your home point here. It only sets your home point; there are no home point warps from this crystal.

Around the tree

You (north-west of the tree)

- Stylist Moogle: new faces, hair colours, Fomor and Mannequin looks, free.
- MiniFerrin, the black mage automaton beside the Stylist Moogle: the Classic mode desk. See Classic mode.

Mog Bonanza (south-west of the tree)

- Bonanza Pearls: buy this week's Bonanza Pearl (200,000 gil, Monday 00:00 to Saturday 18:00 server time). Pick your own three digits or take a random number.
- Bonanza Prizes: after the Saturday 18:00 draw, talk to it or trade it your pearl. It tells you the winning number and, if you won, lets you pick your prize. A pearl that didn't win gets a Bonanza Biscuit.
- Prize Chest, between them: click it to see this week's first, second and third prize lists.

Bank of Vana'diel (south-east of the tree)

- Bank Clerk, behind the ledger stand: loans, paid back from your auction house sales. Trade him gil to pay down a loan. See Bank of Vana'diel loans.
- Bank Vault, the gold coffer beside the clerk: click it to see how much gil the bank's treasurer, Rhunek, is holding.

Along the west path

Clan Centurio (where the path leaves the tree)

- Montblanc: registers clans, posts the week's NM bills, takes mark turn-ins and pays rank rewards.
- Clan Provisioner, just past him: the clan's shop, paid in clan points.

See Clan Centurio.

Bazaar shopkeepers line both sides of the path. Browse their bazaars like any player's.

Training ring (the far end of the west path)

The Training Moogle spawns you a Training Crab to practise your skills on.

- Talk to the Training Moogle.
- Pick My level, Five above me, Ten above me, or Pick a level (10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 75, 80, 90, 99 or 119).
- Your crab appears in the ring beside him. Hit it until your skills go up.

- The crab never fights back, never moves, uses no moves or spells, can't be killed (its HP tops back up) and drops nothing.
- A higher crab gives faster skill-ups, as long as you can still hit it.
- One crab per player: asking for a new one sends the old one away, and Send my crab away dismisses it. A crab nobody has hit for 10 minutes leaves on its own.
