Dynamis - Beaucedine run guide
guide ยท Server guide
How a run through Dynamis - Beaucedine goes on Vanadreams: the route, where the pop items come from, how to beat each boss, and what to take home.
Getting in
- Examine the Trail Markings in Beaucedine Glacier. You need a level 65 main job and the Prismatic Hourglass key item.
- The Hourglass is a one-time unlock. At level 65+ and nation rank 6+, zone into Xarcabard for a cutscene. Examine the Trail Markings for the Vial of Shrouded Sand. Then trade 50,000 gil to Haggleblix (Beadeaux), Antiqix (Castle Oztroja) or Lootblox (Davoi) for the Hourglass. Nothing is used up after that.
- Beaucedine needs all four city wins: the key items Hydra Corps Command Scepter, Hydra Corps Eyeglass, Hydra Corps Lantern and Hydra Corps Tactical Map.
- You enter with your support job. Trusts are allowed.
- You start with 60 minutes. There is no wait between runs.
- Each player enters on their own. Gather at the start before you pull anything.
- The Somnial Threshold next to the start (-262, -41, -414) lets you leave early.
The run
Positions in brackets are what the !where command shows.
You arrive in the far south-west of the glacier (-285, -40, -423). The glacier is built in tiers, and each tier belongs to one beastman tribe:
- South-west, height -40 (around the start): Vanguard goblins.
- Centre, height -20: Vanguard yagudo.
- East and south-east, height 0: Vanguard quadav.
- North-east, height 0: Vanguard orcs.
- Lower tiers in the west and north, height -60 to -100: level 92-95 Hydra fomors. These carry the odious pop items.
- Far north-east, height +20: the boss plateau.
The Vanguards are level 75-77 with 4,000 HP. The level 80-82 Hydra fomors with 5,500 HP are mixed in on the upper tiers. Vanguards and Hydras respawn after 5 minutes, link, and hit for 1.5x damage.
Time extensions
Kill one and everyone in the killer's party or alliance who is in the zone and doesn't have that colour of granule yet gets the key item and the minutes. Each comes back 85 seconds after it dies, so late arrivals can still get theirs.
Granule | Monster | Level | Where | Minutes |
Alabaster | Goblin Statue | 70 | south-west, east of the start, around (-26, -41, -218) | 10 |
Amber | Avatar Idol | 70 | centre, yagudo tier, around (108, -20, -147) | 10 |
Crimson | Adamantking Image | 70 | far east, quadav tier (441, 0, -199) | 10 |
Azure | Warchief Tombstone | 70 | north-east, orc tier, around (262, 0, 222) | 10 |
Obsidian | Rearguard Eye | 82 | lowest tier in the west; one of six spots between (-57, -100, 36) and (-156, -100, -86) | 20 |
All five give 60 minutes, for 120 in total. The four statues lie on the way to the boss. The Rearguard Eye is on the bottom tier, next to the Hitaume and Cavanneche ???s, so take it on the trip down for the Arch boss.
Route
- Goblin tier. Head east from the start. The 15 goblin NMs around (-253, -40, -171) to (141, -41, -27) each have a 1 in 4 chance to drop the Leering Bijou (see Pops). Kill the Alabaster Goblin Statue around (-26, -41, -218).
- Yagudo tier. Climb to the centre. Kill the Amber Avatar Idol around (108, -20, -147).
- Quadav tier. Go east. Kill the Crimson Adamantking Image at (441, 0, -199).
- Orc tier. Go north. Kill the Azure Warchief Tombstone around (262, 0, 222).
- Boss. Climb to the plateau. The ??? is at (280, 20, 468). Trade the Leering Bijou for Angra Mainyu. Killing it wins the area.
- Arch boss (optional). Collect the four Fiendish Tome chapters from the lower tiers (see Pops), take the Obsidian eye on the way, and trade all five chapters at the same ??? for Arch Angra Mainyu.
Refill statues
Eight pairs of statues stand around the glacier. One from each pair is up at a time. When it dies, everyone within 30 yalms gets full MP (blue eye) or full HP (green eye). Red does nothing. A new one appears 5 minutes later. All are level 70.

Pops
All the pop items are Rare and Ex: one of each per person. Spread them across the party. They can be sent to your own other characters.
Every pop item and every Fiendish Tome chapter here is also on the Clan Provisioner's pop shelf for 1,000 clan points (see Clan Centurio). That is the fastest way to any of them.
Leering Bijou
- Spawns: Angra Mainyu. Trade it to the ??? at (280, 20, 468).
- Drops from (about 1 kill in 4): every one of the 60 beastman NMs in the area.
- How the NMs appear: each NM has one Vanguard placeholder standing at its spot. Kill that Vanguard and the NM appears at once, every time.
- Fastest: the goblin tier right by the start. Its 15 NMs are packed together:
NM | Placeholder | Where |
Moltenox Stubthumbs | Vanguard Smithy | (-253, -40, -171) |
Droprix Granitepalms | Vanguard Pitfighter | (-203, -41, -202) |
Brewnix Bittypupils | Vanguard Alchemist | (-146, -41, -225) |
Ascetox Ratgums | Vanguard Shaman | (-48, -40, -206) |
Gibberox Pimplebeak | Vanguard Enchanter | (-36, -40, -222) |
Bordox Kittyback | Vanguard Welldigger | (-26, -40, -199) |
Swypestix Tigershins | Vanguard Hitman | (-24, -41, -211) |
Ruffbix Jumbolobes | Vanguard Armorer | (3, -41, -197) |
Draklix Scalecrust | Vanguard Dragontamer | (29, -39, -169) |
Tocktix Thinlids | Vanguard Tinkerer | (59, -41, -129) |
Routsix Rubbertendon | Vanguard Pathfinder | (130, -41, -76) |
Morblox Chubbychin | Vanguard Necromancer | (138, -40, -71) |
Whistrix Toadthroat | Vanguard Maestro | (141, -41, -27) |
Slinkix Trufflesniff | Vanguard Ambusher | (121, -40, 1) |
Shisox Widebrow | Vanguard Ronin | (82, -40, 5) |
- The other 45 NMs work the same way: 15 yagudo on the centre tier between (72, -20, -142) and (285, -20, -150), 15 quadav on the south-east tier between (160, 0, -178) and (402, 0, -189), and 15 orcs on the north-east tier between (234, 0, -55) and (278, 0, 219). See the zone page for each one.
The four odious items
Each one calls a level 95 fomor NM at its own ??? on the lower tiers. Each NM drops a Fiendish Tome chapter every time. All four items drop at 5% from the level 92-95 Hydra fomors on the lower tiers, by job:
Item | Drops from (level 92-95 Hydras) | ??? | Calls |
Odious Talisman | Black Mage, Paladin, Ranger, Summoner | (-170, -60, -178) | Taquede |
Odious Bell | Beastmaster, Dark Knight, Red Mage, Samurai | (18, -80, 163) | Pignonpausard |
Odious Tree Root | Bard, Monk, Ninja, Warrior | (-109, -100, 61) | Hitaume |
Odious Mirror | Dragoon, Thief, White Mage | (-340, -100, 138) | Cavanneche |
- Fastest: the Clan Provisioner. Farming them means Treasure Hunter and a lot of 5% rolls.
Fiendish Tome chapters
Arch Angra Mainyu takes all five chapters in one trade at the boss ???.
Chapter | Drops (every kill) from |
Fiendish Tome: Chapter 21 | Angra Mainyu |
Fiendish Tome: Chapter 22 | Taquede |
Fiendish Tome: Chapter 23 | Pignonpausard |
Fiendish Tome: Chapter 24 | Hitaume |
Fiendish Tome: Chapter 25 | Cavanneche |
- One player can't hold two of the same chapter, and they can't be traded. One person lots all five.
The five fortune parchments (optional)
These call five fomor NMs that drop attestations and count for the relic weapon Magian trials. They are not needed for either boss. Each drops at 5% from the Hydra fomors of three jobs (both the level 80-82 and the level 92-95 ones).
Item | Drops from Hydras | ??? | Calls |
Despot's Fortune Parchment | Paladin, Red Mage, War [cut off]
