Aubertin the carp monger

guide · Server guide

Aubertin stands on the Port San d'Oria pier next to Gallijaux and Joulet, the brothers from The Rivalry and The Competition. He sells Moat Carp by the stack: 12 fish for 2,000 gil, in lots of 1, 5 or 10 stacks.

If you're working toward Lu Shang's Fishing Rod (10,000 carp traded to Gallijaux), you can buy carp from him instead of fishing every one. Gallijaux still pays 10 gil a fish and the trades count the same.

The Auction House never sells Moat Carp for less than Aubertin does. Fish other players caught and listed themselves can be cheaper.
