Auction House

guide ยท Server guide

Every Auction House on Vanadreams shares one market. A trading bot keeps it stocked and also buys from players, so you can always buy common items and sell your drops.

Buying

- The bot lists thousands of items and restocks them on its own. Its prices drift a little each day (at most about half a percent, so about 3.5% a week) instead of jumping once a week, and never fall below 80% of their base price.
- Nothing the bot lists, single or stack, is ever under 80 gil.
- Su1-Su5 gear, the Aurgelmir Orb and about 160 other tradeable items that used to be missing now appear in the menus, each under the category you would expect (weapons by weapon type, armor by slot, grips under Grips, shields under Shield, anything worn in the ammo slot under Ammunition, Animator Z under Automaton). The bot stocks them too.

Selling

- List items the normal way. The bot buys player listings priced at or under its buy price.
- If you price higher than that, wait: once your listing has been up for a full day, the bot buys it at your asking price as long as that price is not above the bot's own sell price. Listings no longer just sit for three days and expire.
- The usual Auction House fee still applies, so buying from the bot and listing it back costs you money.

Searching: the DreamyAH addon

The launcher's DreamyAH addon adds a searchable Auction House window.

- Turn it on in the launcher's addon list, or type /addon load dreamyah.
- An AH Search button shows on screen while the Auction House menu is open. Drag it wherever you like; it remembers the spot. Click it to open or close the search window.
- /dreamyah or /ahsearch opens the window from anywhere.
- The item list ships with the addon, so search works straight away. Refresh Catalog pulls the server's current list. Version 0.1.2 includes the new Su gear and Aurgelmir Orb categories.
