Abyssea: spending Dominion Notes and Resistance Credits

Dominion Tactician (Dominion Notes)

Found in Abyssea - Altepa, Abyssea - Uleguerand and Abyssea - Grauberg. Earn Dominion Notes by finishing Dominion Ops from the Dominion Sergeants in the same zones.

Every Tactician sells:

- Increscent Shade, Decrescent Shade: 300 notes each
- Temporary items: Petrify, Terror, Amnesia, Doom and Poison Screens, 300 notes each

Each zone also sells its own empyrean bodies (1,500 notes) and three augmented weapons (2,500 notes, random augments):

Battle trophies

Every notorious monster in Abyssea - Altepa, Abyssea - Uleguerand and Abyssea - Grauberg gives each alliance member in the zone a Battle Trophy of its echelon. You can hold up to 30 of each echelon; an NM gives you nothing more of an echelon once you hold 30.

At the Dominion Tactician, "Make an exchange?" lets you:

- Claim guerdon: one trophy buys one piece of that echelon's slot, with one to three random augments (the first always, a second 50% of the time, a third 25%). The augments suit the set: for example STR, Accuracy, Attack, Double Attack and Store TP for Bellicus.
- Exchange trophies: two of an echelon for one of the echelon above, or one for two of the echelon below.

Bastion Prefect (Resistance Credits)

Found at the outpost by Veridical Conflux #00 in Abyssea - Attohwa, Abyssea - Misareaux and Abyssea - Vunkerl. Talk to the Prefect and pick a category.

Resistance Credits come from Abyssea quests such as A Ward to End All Wards, Wayward Wares and The Boxwatcher's Behest.

Items (all three zones): Daybreak Soul 300, Twilight Soul 300, Magnus Stone Pouch 250.

Cruor

Every monster killed in Abyssea while you have Visitant status gives 200 cruor, and a Notorious Monster gives 2,400. Holding Silvery light adds 2 cruor per point plus 100, holding any Ebon light doubles the total, and each Abyssite of the Reaper adds 10%.

Bastion battles (Attohwa, Misareaux, Vunkerl)

Each of these zones has a Resistance outpost by Veridical Conflux #00, guarded by a Pulse Martello. When adventurers have been busy in the zone (about 150 monsters defeated, and at least an hour since the last attack), an Abyssean horde marches on the outpost. The whole zone gets a message when it starts.

- Talk to the Bastion Prefect and choose "Take a Pennant and fight". Only Pennant holders earn rewards.
- The horde comes in five waves of Ironclad, gear and Qiqirn foes; the last wave brings an Overseer. Each wave starts shortly after the previous one is cleared.
- Stop foes reaching the Pulse Martello. Each one that gets through costs it 10% integrity. If it falls to 0%, or 30 minutes pass, the battle is lost.

Rewards: every foe defeated gives each Pennant holder in the zone 400 EXP, 200 cruor and 20 Resistance Credits. Winning adds 2,000 cruor and 200 credits. Your Pennant wears off when the battle ends or you leave the zone, or the Prefect can remove it.

Resistance Ops

Talk to the Resistance Sapper next to the Bastion Prefect to take an op: defeat 8 monsters in that zone, then report back for 1,000 cruor and 150 Resistance Credits. One op per Vana'diel day. Leaving the zone or logging out cancels it, and you can't take one while holding a Pennant.
